Well, we are here in Moscow awaiting our midnight flight with only 5 hours left to wait. Today has gone incredibly smooth. We got through security, passport check and baggage in about a half hour. The couple coming to pick us up said that never happens. We are so thankful it went smoothly. Then we went to the embassy and barely caught them before they went to lunch, which expedited our process since they were ready to go. Then we had a long, luxurious lunch at an Italian place. Then Elder & Sister Budd actually LEFT us on our own with the van driver and we drove a few hours and then were dropped off at another airport, which we negotiated all on our own. We are glad to have made it thus far and wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. So we feel we are rounding 3rd base and headed for home. We ARE tired, but plan to sleep on the next flight.
Two cute cleaning ladies in the restroom here tried to have a conversation with me about my name tag. I think they thought I was a nun with my sister Aland name tag:) But I had them read the next part about our church name and they pointed upwards and said something about Bog (God) and we all smiled. Then said Dosvedonia ( Goodbye) I wish I could have said more. But it was at least pleasant. We will send more when we get connected in Tomsk - keep praying :) Love, Mom and Dad
