This was a GREAT day when we got to purchase a few keyboards and deliver them to people. It is not an easy process. . . I had to wait until later at night and then call my bank so it is their daytime hours. I had to get clearance to use my VISA for a large purchase. She said she could give me 12 hours. I told her that would be a problem, because it would be night for 12 more hours. She called a supervisor and got me 24 hours. Then we got the Russian speaking elders, secured the last 4 keyboards in the store of the smaller size. . . then called a taxi . . . a small taxi came. .. so we crammed the 4 keyboards in and 2 elders and we walked home. Then the elders had to carry them to the 5th floor. Then. . . later in the week, they carried them by bus and by taxi to deliver them.

Today is Saturday and we get to deliver keyboards. This is one of the homes. It is a four-plex. Yep. .. for 4 families. The sister that received this keyboard is the only member in her family and has been on a mission. Now she leads the choir which practices 1 and 1/2 hours before the block and the choir does the prelude songs 1/2 before the meeting. And then she plays the prelude for sacrament meeting the last 5 minutes before. (One of the elders plays the hymns for sacrament meeting). Then she teaches a Sunday School class and THEN for the last hour of the meetings, she plays the music for primary. Do you think you have too many callings? She is very dedicated and was thrilled to get the keyboard. She was working today, and I will take a picture of Anya later. I hope this gives her the boost she deserves. I love Anya!

Elder Gushin & Peterson box up the keyboard

WE squeeze into a small taxi with the keyboard

We arrive at the home

Elder Aland takes the keyboard in and we meet Anya's brother.

My 3 keyboard delivery go-to guys and I walk home in the wind.
It is a cold day and we are very warm . . . inside.
