Reentry into the US

This was a heart wrenching experience - saying goodbye with much sadness.  But on the other hand a heart warming experience landing upon American ground and feeling an overwhelming amount of joy and freedom and journeying back to family.  We were overcome with tears of happiness and our hearts were swollen with gratitude.  May we never look upon the US of A the same.  Our lives through this experienced are forever changed!

This is the sign we read as we came into the Atlanta airport.  For sure WE ARE PROUD to be AMERICANS!! 

27 hours of travel later we had a joyful reunion with the Canty family in Denver!!!  We are SO glad to be here.

And around 10 p.m. on June 1st, 2011 - that very night - we couldn't wait to meet Mylee Ryan Canty - at last!!  She is worth the trip here for sure!  And we are SO enjoying being here with Andrea, who is a trooper and a wonderful mother.  Ryan and Andrea are taking upper division parenting courses right now.  These are tough courses to be sure but they will pass them in flying colors!
