Another week here in paradise come and gone. This week we are concentrating on CES information and have learned SO much about how to teach institute and seminary and then we got THE ALERT/SCARE lesson, actually entitled security. It was how to keep safe in foreign countries and it was just precautionary, but it did put us on edge a bit. But overall, it has just been a S-W-E-E-T experience. Topped off by another Tuesday devotional last night. Well, so here's the list:
THINGS WE'VE LEARNED AT THE MTC:
SO MANY are sacrificing SO MUCH to be here! I cannot express how many have given ALL to spread the good news.
It is a privilege to be on this consecrated campus, people are happy here.
There are NO coincidences. We've met people and made connections and eternal friends.
We feel our Savior's love.
The Book of Mormon is more powerful than we knew.
Preach my Gospel is a HUGELY inspired resource as are the CES manuals. WOW
We can speak RUSSIAN (this is us speaking AND bearing our testimonies in Russian after 3 days training.) (miracle)
There are angels among us. Yep, there ARE on both sides of the veil.
This isn't a complete list, but we're out of time. They do keep us busy.
Our love to you all!
Anxiously Engaged,
John & Marsha
