The subject is the name of a movie which is one we haven't watched yet. But we've gathered all the information we possible could from movies, books and mostly people that have been there and now we are anxious to jump off the end of the high dive we've been standing on for some time. Here are a few things we look forward and 5 rules of Russia:
The airport and all we go through in Moscow will be like an ant pile that has been kicked. We may or may not have an apartment when we get there and it will only take 37 hours of travel to find out about some of those things.
5 Rules of Russia:
1. Nothing has to match, most THINGS really don't matter.
2. If you see something in a store you want, get it because you may never see the same thing in a store again.
3. Everything is subject to change, so learn to go with the flow.
4. Don't ask why. " This is Russia! " is your best answer. (refer to rule #3)
5. If they know you're trying they will help you. They may have a rough exterior, but they have giant hearts.
Seriously, though, we leave Monday morning at 5 and will hopefully arrive Wednesday morning at 5, Russian time which will be your Tuesday evening at 4. There are many obstacles to jump in order to get there smoothly and we WOULD appreciate your prayers to help us in our travel. We're off and hope for happy trails in our journey to RUSSIA!
Lots of love and blessings to you all, from
Elder & Sister Aland
