They were beginning a marching procedure as preparation for the official Victory Day Parade coming up Monday. So we got to witness the dress rehearsal. We were in plain clothes this day and felt lucky to be there. The mission president said no at first, then gave permission if we looked like one of the huge crowd that would be there.
The procession continues into the square - they had enough soldiers to fill up the HUGE square on Monday.
